| On 12 Sep 2009, Cadet Carl Joiner received the Encampment Honor Cadet award from Col Smith. Carl was selected outstanding cadet out of 130 cadets at encampment this past summer. Col Smith asked him to explain why he received the award. His comment was simply, "I did what I was told." Congratulations to Cadet Joiner. Great job !! |
Cadet News At the 3 Aug 09 meeting, we said good-bye to SM Marsh (moving to Seattle), Cadet Jenkins and SM Jenkins (moving to Germany). Good luck to all, and please stay in touch. Cadet Dendrinos was selected to be a Blue Beret at Oskosh AirVenture. He shared his adventures with a slide show during a recent meeting. Congratulations and great job !! |  |  |  |
 |  |  | International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE) visits SC Wing and Timmonsville SAR Competition The Columbia Squadron participated in the Timmonsville SAR Competition 1 Aug 2009 which was attended by cadets from Great Britain, New Zealand, and Canada.
